ABOUT THE TUTOR

 

¡Hola! My name is Maria de Lourdes Krawczyk. I leave in Greenville, MI. And I’m getting this wonderful opportunity to teach your children Spanish my primary language. I was born in Mexico, City. I was in University when my parents decide to move to the United States for a better opportunity for their children. It was hard for me to leave, but now I thank my parents for their decision. God has given me the most beautiful family and a very wonderful and supportive husband Kurt. We have been Married for 13 years. I have three children Adrian 9 years old, Michael 7 years old and Morgan 3 years old. Like you, I’m very concern about the education of our children, and who teach them. I want the best for them and to be prepared for their future and to be around people who believe in Christ.

 

I’m a Certified Interpreter in Medical Terminology. I have been working as Freelance Interpreter for almost 7 years interpreting in different areas. To mention some: (Hispanic Center of western Michigan, Spectrum Health, Kent County Health Department, Arbor Circle, MMPC, Child protection service etc.) This has been a blessing for me and my family. Its been the best time working around children from different ages, moms, new moms, adults with disabilities, etc. so much to learn. And so much we can do to help others.

         

In the last two years I had been a volunteer teaching Spanish in Grattan Academy for Kindergarten to 5th grade. The children love to see that they can be Bilingual.

         

In 2007 I had the opportunity of work for Koinonia as Spanish tutor and I just Love it. The children are so enthusiastic and the people here are just wonderful.

This is a Blessing for my family.

         

God is my strength; he is with me every day. Without him I wouldn’t be able to accomplish all this.
