ABOUT THE TUTOR
Bob and Kathy Prokopy have been married for 31 years and have two married sons. In 2008 they will become grandparents for the first time. God continues to bless them with their different careers. Currently they are Professional Photographers shooting weddings, seniors and families with a home studio in Cedar Springs. Bob and Kathy have also traveled to several continents doing missions work. They currently are Pre-Marriage Mentors and are looking to once again lead Bible study groups in their home. Before moving to the Grand Rapids area in 2005 they lived in Orchard Lake, a suburb north of Detroit. There they had a business providing and manufacturing commercial signage, engraving and graphics. They sold their business and home to move to the Grand Rapids area where their oldest son lives. Bob spent many years in the food service industry working positions from cook/chef to multi-unit director. Before leaving the S & A Restaurant Corp. in 1995 he was responsible for 7 restaurants in Michigan and Minnesota with over 500 employees/managers. Besides being NSF certified, Bob was also a certified Area Trainer for the corporation. “God has truly blessed me with a lifetime of fulfilling careers. Each and every new opportunity I have met with hesitation, yet God gives me the skills, knowledge and attitude to attain success. I am so thankful and excited to have had the opportunity to experience such great blessings. This year I am excited to be part of the leadership team here at Koinonia where I take on the position of Executive Director. I am equally excited to be able to teach the Photography / Yearbook class. I love photography and can’t wait to show students how to see God’s great world through the eyes of a lens, capture that moment forever in photos, and create a passion that continues to grow within. Your student will have a totally new understanding to what it means to take a photograph.” |
